I would go full. Had a short and put on a full. A good 5 to 7 faster. Better mileage. Only down side is photography.

I got a new lithium battery for Christmas from my kids.For my Kolb Firefly. Here's the link I sent them.
Not sure how safe it is but losing 10 LB sounded great. My 6 year old lead acid was dying.

Find some thick clear 2 inch tape and overlap a little more than the gap to fill start on the top and then under for the back it will last years.

With my Firefly I found that heavier springs helped but sometimes you just have to add power half way into your landing to get her back on track.
