Tex, here's a link to where you can buy them. I didn't purchase mine I took them off electrical chargers that I had laying around. I do plan on buying some new though.

They were TDK 100-150 MHz ferrite beads, snap on. I also put one on the antenna cable near the Icom. Not sure it helped though. |

Seems putting a choke on each mag to distributor wire did the trick |

Thom, do you have any filters or capacitors installed on your set up?. How are your mags wired? is the mag wire shielding grounded to the engine as I've read about in the achieves.

Lynn, they do go out through the cowl! I wasn't aware that the muffler could be reversed- bummer- cut two big holes in the cowl, thanks for the info. |

Problem fixed, installed a new Plated steel bushing (sharp threads) applied Permatex 9 AR Tack and Seal. Let it set a few days , no leaks to date. Thanks for all the responses. |

thanks Pat, I've tried the liquid yellow type, it worked on all fittings except the bottom one. What's the Brand and product number for the stuff you are talking about? |

Thanks Tom, back to the airport on Saturday to try again. I guess the sheet spec's that specify 19 to 20 degrees is a mistake???? Oh yea I have a digital smart level also. |
