It was Bruce Stamper, from Dubois, WY (and summers in Alaska as a salmon fisher). He was on VAF quite a bit (as "Stamper"), but I don't recall seeing him on Matronics.

I don't think that's the side that's hard to inspect. I believe it's the aft side of the spar, under the gar fairing, that requires the aileron to be removed and gap fairing to be trim ... |

That is correct. It's designed to connect to #5, and then pass thru the firewall on the starboard side of the firewall, I believe with the sensor inside the firewall.

I did the same as Phil. Mounted the MP sensor on the firewall sensor block. I also used the extra hole in the sensor block to daisy chain the MP into my lightspeed boxes.
