Hi Guys,
My Rotax 912 uls oil changes every 50 hours max, and plugs, little 100 avgas mostly premium unleaded, 1074 hours suddenly vibrates at 3000 revs.
gearbox cogs replaced... all good!

aha.. good point Thom. I only do this to purge lines up to crankcase. Good point for checking oil level however!

Yes , very cautious about air in the lines! One thing I do is take all the spark plugs off so there is no compression when I change the oil and a half filled filter, and repurge the line ... |

I was referring to the $1.55 special as attachment in Craigs post. I used Dextron 3 as the oil inside the tubes. Very accurate and highly visible when its all happening!.
