I just drew the center wire out, cut in vise at slight angle then filed. Then put the center wire in and cut that to length.

I used a peice of Z angle either side with the Z down. Tied in nicely.

Thanks Doug. That makes more sense than having both at 90 degrees as the cables have to go to the top of the fuse ans should be equal lengths as I see it.

I seem to remember somewhere I read about changing the mounts on either side of the instrument panel that rivet to the cabin frame. Has anyone here done this? pros and cons. Thanks
