Check the static air pressure sensor and air box pressure sensor connections. Blow the connectors out with air and to the same with the TCU unit,.

dont forget that the S engine is140 cc bigger , has a different cam AND the upped compression so I doubt these pistons will give that much.

I have seen a W10 for sale in the Uk ere they claim 5 gallons an hour at 110 knots, this seems slow for a cruise speed. What kind of speeds should you expect with a O 300 d powered W10 ?

Copper part is the conrod side thrust washer from the crank shaft.
Bet you find the conrod blue from heat.
Usually caused by corrosion on the needle rollers then run. Engine sat in a humid hanger ...

Use a oil thermostat and get that oil hot....thats the reason for the hot oil temp is to evaporate fuel and water out.
Oil dilution is not good for high load areas such as the cam and tappets.

If No1 cyl really runs rich at idle it can be the idle jet is getting blocked. I know this sounds wrong but bear with me.
