In my humble opinion, when considering the CoG of a Kitfox, the most important thing is that, in case of elevator failure, the aircraft climbs at full throttle and descent at idle throttle.

I also have some 500 hours on my Kitfox 3, Mike. First with the 582 then with the Jabiru 2200 that has now about 430 hours. I enjoy every moment of it and ... yes, I was flying today!

I never set the cap on the wing now. I always set the cap on the ladder when gassing up.
