That sure makes sense since I didn't have a spacer on my probe. Maybe it bottomed out against the exhaust......I'll make a run over to Aircraft Spruce and see if they have a new probe in stock ... |

This has been a concern of mine too. I went down to my local Home Depot and purchased pipe insulation for tube padding. Works just fine. |

I use NAPA 1215 Gold for my Rotax 912. I think they are about $7 each or somewhere around that price. |
