MalcolmJust FYI, the cleaner Bon Ami does NOT contain any silicates, and will not scratch as Comet, Ajax and the others can

I've fueled from plastic cans many many times (hi-wing Cessna), in
Canada & when on floats. Never had a problem, thankfully. Only thing
I do, if I can, is hold spout closed with a fingertip ...
