MalcolmJust FYI, the cleaner Bon Ami does NOT contain any silicates, and will not scratch as Comet, Ajax and the others can
and do. And it cleans nicely.

Rick Dip the strand ends on solder before you start to splice. Less colorful but more comfortable.
