Thanks Guys.
The 195 mount doesn't work but ViperDoc's set-up looks pretty sound. I use a RAM mount for the GPS on my bike and I know that's very secure .

I have a Garmin 296 but I really need a secure mount for it. The standard mount is not able to hold the unit in high G maneuvers. Not an ideal situation in an inverted Yak !

I just put my name down today and I was told they have fifty aircraft expected to attend. Looks like it should be quite an event.
