130 kts see and avoid.. 480kts plus on a low level not so easy.

VMA-231, AV8B, MAC run 520 Kts, <200ft, Red Tailed Hawk through the front windscreen. Successful ejection!

I have gone through this issue in the past and I can tell you that the likely culprit and easiest to troubleshoot first is the rear cockpit handle. Place it DOWN and see what happens.

It there a screw that locks than handle down through the knurled nut? I've never look closely at mine but I adjust cap tightness with a screw (for what its worth)
