I can’t help you with the specific aircraft but contact John Warwick (The Yak Collection) at Gillespie. He owned a 50 until recently and has a lot of knowledge.

Thanks Dennis, we will do that. The aircraft is stranded away from base so we want to have parts in place if required to avoid doing multiple journeys.

Will a CJ fit in a shipping container with the wings off? A Yak50/52 will but the wings detach at the fuselage.

Other than geography, that could be the reason as it increases the expense.

Thanks, I thought that was the case. We have one available on our field as we need it in a hurry so we'll stick that on and get the other refurbed.
