The reason why I asked is that I always hear about how small the rear seats are, but they look pretty similar to the rear seat area of the older Cherokees.

Reminds me of a story a guy on one of the aviation podcasts (uncontrolled airspace) mentioned. He got his pilot's certificate at 17, so he could rent an airplane, but couldn't rent a car.
