I've been using the "JBM" carb sockets on my 912 and my customer 912's for years without a problem. It's as good or better than the factory part.

You might think about wrapping your exhaust pipes also. It lowers the under cowl temps notably and adds an additional safety factor too. After I wrapped my 912S exhaust I felt much safer, ... |

They Really, Really work. I got 5-8mph increase in cruise and glide got much more stable.

The JBM Sockets are TOP QUALITY parts. I've been using them for a number of years and to date I've had no failures. Cant say that about the Rotax Factory parts.
