I never noticed any effect that wouldn't trim out easily. It doesn't require any physical change to the aircraft and it's reversible. Just eight AN-3 bolts and the two AN-6's.

Richard, Try this, mount the fwd dampers upside (short side up) and the aft dampers as normal. This will give you another inch and a half or so.

When I tested aluminum parts coming from the paint line at Boeing Auburn all it took was an impedance tester. Alodining conducts electricity, anodizing does not.
