I would like to second Shane’s suggestion. I had a similar problem with my 912S. It ran great for several flights then the starter carbs (choke is a misnomer for this engine) stuck. I took th ...

Good advice Mic.

I have been flying from my land for about 6 years. I have given rides to most neighbors. Still need to meet one of them. Maybe a BBQ is the way to go.

Thanks John and Clint.

I haven’t changed prop pitch in nearly 3 years. I should have mentioned that I took the fuel line off where it was feeding the fuel pump and had a fuel flow of ...

Yeah, I know I am a good straight man.

The $55 spark plug caps didn't solve the missing problem. They are not
loose now, but....

What is a good way to check the fuel pump? Remember it only do ...

Actually there are two Ellipses (??)) Well any way, two of these in Rapid
City. They are being put together by friends of mine in the local EAA
Chapter. Both are expected to fly this summer. The ...

As long as we are picking on Frank, one more correction. The series 5 could be purchased as either a tail dragger (Outback) or as tricycle gear (Vixen – I don’t know why they needed names ...

It was $175. But that was a few years ago. I actually flew my friends

not nearly as sensitive as Kelly's ...

I am not sure what to tell you. It works as advertised! It is very
sensitive, yet very stable. It takes a couple of flights to get it adjusted
correctly. You just change the angle where ...

Bob,
Yup, That's it!

You may want to check with Kelly. At the time I got mine, he was selling
for about one third the price they were asking.

Bob,
It is a version of angle of attack, but with no moving parts. Essentially
it tells you how close you are to stall. Air speed doesn't do this. If you
are loaded heavier, you will stall at a ...

I wonder if you have your flaps setup correctly. I use full flaps a lot.
About the only times I don't use full flaps is if there is a lot of wind -
then I use half flaps. I also slip a lot. ...

That area on top of the cowling ahead of the windshield is a high pressure
area. The pitot vent is not needed there.

have gotten off the ground a lot faster. But then it couldn't cruise as
fast as it does.

I agree. My tailwheel has always been tight and I have had not problems.
The problem was probably toe-in on your main gear.
