I couldn't squeeze mine by hand and make them look decent. If they don't look nice it will reflect on the quality look of your airplane.

It seems we have to get a few years under our belt before we realize how much more can get done by starting early in the day.
I tried to tell my kids to get an early start when traveling without much ...

My tanks have a balance line which is where they "T" together before the valve. If the plane is parked level the tanks will equal out to seek the level of the other one. What I was speaking ...

I think I have figured out the uneven fuel flow by accident on my 701 and probably all of them. I left the fuel cap off one very short flight and noticed one fuel tank filling and the other emptying w ...

The answer to the question about how to land a 701 with slats or with no slats and VG's with no power is. One just has to be close enough to the runway, pattern altitude (1000 feet above runway) and t ...

Come land with me in my 701 and you will see that it is a rare landing that I don't have the throttle at dead idle and full flaps from the numbers on downwind to touchdown, slats or no slats. The only ...

Yes the 701 is easier to land minus the slats and with vg's, here is why. Sure, the landing technique is more conventional. Is more conventional easier, yes. I liken a 701 with slats like a power boat ...

I too had the same problem of riding the brakes. I solved it by adding to the rudder bar as you mentioned and it works very well. I don't have long legs so the shortened distance is not a problem for ...

I personally have removed the slats from my 701 and would rather fly without them for at least two reasons.
#1 it is easier to land.
#2 it is easier to take off.
I have VG's from John Gilpin. If ...

I have snorkel tubes on each gas cap and they still feed uneven . My guess is that the one that produces the most pressure feeds the fastest. The only way to have even pressure on each tank is to have ...

It could be a valve that a stuck closed after the engine cooled a bit and when the cam tries to open it it stops the the engine from turning. Forcing it will bend or break something in the valve train ...

One consideration is the mandatory use of 91+ octane fuel in the 100 hp if using auto gas and Rotax wants it fresh and in season. Not many cars today really need premium fuel so it can be a bit hard t ...
