You have to buy the complete set. It makes a big difference over the Cleveland setup. I recommend it.

As I understand it, yes it changes the polarity in the sense that if it gets positive on pin 11 and negative on 12 then it will output positive on 13 an negative on 14 and vice versa.

I give a 3rd vote for the cube just before spider. Keep it away from pumps when possible. They, sometimes, seem to be affected by the pulsations of the pumps.

I don't know how much the D-rings weigh, but I bet these are much lighter. They are made from extruded aluminum hinge. Plus they have a little lip so they are easy flip up with your finger.
