I prefer AoA to airspeed as a primary information source. AoA tells you you will slow down whereas ASI tells you you have already slowed down.

The main purpose of a diode across the relay coil is to short out induced voltage being generated by the collapsing relay magnetic field. Sure, I did not mention that as that seems obvious to me, but ... |
