Although possibly good for the YAK communities with the supply of more parts (hopefully), a monopoly of one industry is never good. Competition keeps the prices in check as well as another way to maintain quality control. The something that is missing in a monopoly. Looks like Russia continues to slip back into the ways of communism. One government with no dissention and one aircraft industry with no competition. Sad thing is even under the communist regiems, they had competing design beureaus!
