Does anybody have a picture or drawing on where and how to attach the lift struts to the door frame and cabin door. Where did you buy the gas struts?

I got one that I was able to fit to the plane from a salvage yard. I have two others here that art too long.

Charles,

What you are looking for is the Suspa gas spring C-16-10788/ It has a 12.2"
extended length and an 8.3" compressed length and a 35# force. It can be
ordered from:

http://www.jlkrakercompany.com/suspa_cylinder_pricing.htm

I am sure there are other manufacturers and suppliers, but this is one
source for the original supplied Skystar and Denney gas springs.

Charles:

There's a vendor on e-bay who sells gas struts. Search on "suspa" and "C-16-10788."
I bought 2 new in original packaging for what you'll pay for one anywhere else. As I recall, that was the "buy it now" price.
