This is taking a lot more time than I thought. You may remember that in January I posted emails that all three of my propeller blades departed my Kitfox IV Classic with a 912S while in flight. I needed to replace the propeller, the engine mount and do some repair to the cowling. I ordered an IVO prop and it came some time ago. John shipped the new engine mount last week and the repairs are done. What I don't have is the drive lugs needed to attach the propeller. These are the female threaded lugs that press into the flange on the drive shaft. Neither Kitfox Aircraft nor Lockwood have been able to get them from Rotax. I wonder if any of you have some you don't need and would sell them (six) to me. Let me know at barry(at)pgtc.com (barry(at)pgtc.com).

I don't think those inserts have been used for years. I am using nuts and
washers on the back of my Ivoprop. Clint

Barry-
Did you ever determine what caused the blade(s) departure. I have experienced inflight departure of props as well and it sure is like a sudden explosion as you get rocked.

I just bolted my IVO right to the flange, I did throw away the bolts they sent and got some better ones. I also put lock nuts on the back as well. If you do use theirs, be careful that you don't bottom out before the bolts touch the blades. I also found that my engine was running very rough and many things attributed to this, one- floats another - the calibration of the carbs. Now I can idle all the way down to 1450 which is spec for this engine. Sure helps when landing. I can pull the throttle and come in nice and slow, makes for a beautiful landing.

I had set and will find and mic dims for you to get a set made.
Iąd make from normalized 4130 rod stock. Was a slight interference fit into
prop flange. Your choice as to internal threading; Iąd avoid it if possible
