All,
My aft carb is filling with oil. (582) It appears the oil
injection system is allowing oil to slowly migrate from the tank to
the oil injection port. Has anyone else had this problem? Can I
rebuild the injection pump? I seem to remember someone telling me
there was a check valve or ball valve in the pump that could get
particulates in it an thereafter allow oil to flow at rest.

I heard and experienced the same thing. The advice was not to leave the injection bottle full.

I spoke with Bob Robertson. It turns out the banjo fittings
connecting the pump to the oil feeds contain check valves. He says
these occasionally leak. Unfortunately he also says he's never had
any luck cleaning them so I'll just have to replace the one that's
passing oil. Parts are on order.
Thanks for all the responses. And support Bob Robertson at
Light Engine Services. He's a hell of a nice guy, knows his stuff,
and is always helpful.
