Has anybody change the bearings in there aileron brackets? The ones on my
-6A are in need of replacement. Seem like I have seen a tool similar to a
c-clamp in an old RVator but can't put my hands on it. I searched the
archive to no avail. i will be doing my annual in the near future and would
like to take care of this.

I had to change mine. I used a C clamp and a couple of sockets. Worked
fine. I'll bet a bunch of old RVs have locked ail bearings. I talked to
Vans and they told me that after having numerous seizures, they changed
their bearing supplier.
