Hi Kolbers,
Well while the gang was flying around rocks in the desert we had a little fun of our own. John Bickham flew his beautiful Mark 3 over to visit saturday. We had a good visit pumped 10 gal of fuel in and off he went.
I tried to capture his landing (which was perfect) but the tiny view finder lost him. Got a better shot of his departure.
Enjoy

Thanks for letting me visit. It was great to fly somewhere instead of sitting at home and wishing we were in MV with the other guys. Anyway, we had our own little MV (Mississippi Valley) gathering. Ms. Dixie is a a great example of wonderful workmanship.
Sorry about the erratic flying and not staying in the viewfinder. Also sorry about the late phone call to close my flight home. I always had trouble with closing my flight plans. There was a community gathering on the creek at Nauga Field. I got to visiting and got distracted.
Thanks for the rivet, gas run, your time and hopsitality. You and Mr. Charlie have a nice plane and place there. Get-r-dun and come visit. Keep me posted on the move to LUL.

I know many pilots and a few true aviators. There is a distinct difference that I have the greatest respect for. |
