I’ve always had a thing for torqey long-legged low-revving engines so that would be one tradeoff…(-:
No ignition is another and many places you can get good diesel where no gas can be bought for money…I expect there will be no valves and associated gear, so less parts to go wrong.
I’ve been told the 93 kg’s are dry, which I took for just ‘’add water and stir’’?

Yes (albeit on the 100kg prototype).
It's too heavy, unless you are prepared to compromise other aspects of the overall EUropa performance profile. The quoted weight is bare engine less its installation (radiators, water, mount etc etc).
But what would be the benefit of the trade-off of other factors? Unless you just keen to run it on cheap and sustainable rape oil!
