Thx. to those who replied to my sternpost joggle post.

My rudder flange is thinner than the thickness of the sternpost/fin
thickness by 1/8"+.

Did anyone do anything about the starboard side of the rudder being more
inboard than the starboard side of the fin?

Just ignore it?
Space the hinge on the rudder flange with G-10 or aluminium or layers of
BID?
Fill rudder to match?
If you filled how far aft of an area did you fair over?
Perhaps 1/3 way space hinge and 1/3 way fill and ignore 1/3 offset?

Thx.
Ron Parigoris

Ron,
Mine was the same, and Nev said just to fill out the rudder as needed. My
rudder hinges were already bonded to the rudder flange by the time I saw
this problem, so I will just fill it a little, but if yours are not yet
bonded it would seem much easier and presumably stronger to apply more bid
to the inside of the rudder flange . That would also provide just a bit more
space for the rudder to fit inside the fin - mine was quite tight and the
port fin flange needed sanding well forward. That's what I would do if doing
it again.

Regards,
Keith Hickling.
