Hi all,
I'm looking for two things for a buddy just finishing his
model V/912ULS:
1. A three view drawing. (Required for registration or AC, I've forgotten.)
and
2. A pilot's operating handbook.
On the latter, we'd be happy to borrow one and copy, if necessary.
Thanks,
Guy Buchanan

I can't help you with the three view drawing... I would have figured one would have come with the building manual. Perhaps John McBean can be of assistance for that.
As for the POH that is usually written by the manufacturer and includes anything the manufacturer considers pertinent to the safe operation of the plane. I've seen one of the original manuals for the Piper Cub ( pre Super Cub) there was less info, and a lot less pages in it than in the average owners manual on an entry level car. Basically, what I'm saying is Write your own POH but check with your local FAA office on what they would like to see in it. No doubt there will be some specific things like take off procedure, T.O. and landing distances and emergency procedures.

Guy, if your friend has the inspector lined up he should ask if photos of the three views will be okay. Thats what mine wanted.
Also, I have a Skystar catalog from 1999 that has three view drawings in the back. The model fives they show are the Voyager (tri gear smooth cowl) and the outback (tail wheel tube gear, smooth cowl). if one of those is what he needs I can snail mail a copy.

How about using all or part of the pub "how to fly a kitfox" that SkyStar put out years ago.---Leon Morris/Classic 4(94)/50%/Flower Mound,TX
