All-

     Before I give those bandits at  MSC a $10 "Handling" charge to ship a 1 oz bottle, does anyone know of a  national auto or hardware store that carries the Loctite 620 recommended for  putting Corvair parts together? No luck with Advance, Auto Zone, or NAPA.  Clark's doesn't carry it either.

Hi Bill ,I cant help you with the 620 .I have built  several aircraft engines and I use Loctite 515 .It is approved for use on  aircraft engines and has served me well .It may be more available than the 620  .Just a thought.

Did you try the Loctite site for retailers in your area. Check also for  equivalent p/ns in the Loctite catalog.

I would think any industrial supply would have the complete Loctite line.  Likewise, check with a bearing supply. The ones I go to carry Loctite.   Jerry

Bill,

Try the nearest Fastenal store.  Loctite 620 is listed as an item they 

carry from less than $2 to around $150 depending on package size. They 

should be able to get it on a regular stock order if not on hand and 

avoid outrageous shipping fees.
