OK, Lads,

Here's the first of a few of the Weight & Balance forms I created for Inter Island Air (a FAR 135 operation in Pago Pago).

Not sophisicated like Dr David Fitzgerald's automated forms, but intended to meet the FARs that require a hard copy of pax manifest and W&B to be left at point of departure. They were a 2 part NCR form when produced.

Operating as an air carrier is all about paper work and little to do with flying an airplane ...

Anway, the top row needs to be filled out with your empty weight / arm / moment.

From there, you add weights, subtotal, find C.G.

As you work the form, you can see your C.G. shift with pax loading (running forward, fast!) and then you can see the C.G. pull aft with cargo and fuel.
