Due to some health issues my Classic IV has been at a stand still for about
a year and a half. I am trying to get started back. Prior to my downtime I
had the wings to the point I'm now ready to install the fuel tanks. I
understand I should re-apply the Kreem coating inside the fiberglass tanks.
They look like they have a pretty good coating inside and when I rinsed them
out with water I got very little debris. Only a few tiny particles. I need
to know the following.
1. should I pre-rinse the tanks with acetone or MEK?
2. do I mix the Kreem with MEK or acetone?
3. what is the recommended mixture?
4. what is the best sealer to user when installing the fittings?
5. where is best place to buy Kreem.
Thanks in advance for the info

1. I pre-rinsed with acetone
2. I used MEK (according to instructions on can)
3. I think I used 50-50, but can't recall
4. I used Permatex Aviation sealer
5. I got mine through J.C. Whitney
