Listers,

 Anyone aware of data base to retrieve airport  Lat/Lon, msl, ID etc to download to MapSource as waypoints?  Manual data  entry is very time consuming.

Here is a method that I use, but it is a little convoluted:



1.  Go to the following web site:   http://www.faa.gov/airports_airtraffic/airports/airport_safety/airportdata_5010



2.  Enter some criteria and then push the select button.  For Example, you can select state of Washington and Public Use.



3.  Another page will appear.  Select the Airport Facilities Data link under Data Downloads near the bottom of the page.



4.  This will open an Excel file that contains a bunch of info about the airports you selected including altitude, latitude and longitude.
