By the way, if you take a look on this address, here is some nice
pictures taken of one of the other guys in the club. www.mikrofly.net
The static rpm is 2950 (it is not the best choice propeller on this
engine/airframe) but I will test if for a while.

Congratulations, Geir! I am sure you'll have a lot of pleasure with
your Kitfox - Jabiru combination. I also fly at 2600 RPM on cruise but
it is more like 90 MPH. Your ASI might be slightly wrong. Going from
the Rotax 582 to the Jabiru, I noticed that the air vent under the
cowling, ahead of the firewall was creating a slight low pressure in
the cockpit and I had to put my ASI to a static port, aft on the
fuselage. Maybe you could check that. Another thing is that maybe your
prop has a coarser pitch than mine. What is you static WOT RPM on the
ground? Anyway, with my model 3, 100 MPH is the Vne so I am very happy
cruising at 90 MPH.
