I don't have to tell the people who were there how great a weekend it was. But if you weren't able to attend, we missed you, and you missed a singular experience. However, we will probably give you another chance. We're already starting to talk about next year.
With 18 flying and another 30+ in the works, we will soon have a sizable group. Maybe it's a bit early to be organizing a type club, but it isn't too soon to be thinking about it. Here are my thoughts to kick things off.
First point. Include Lightnings and Esquals. Not only is there a resemblance, but the Esquals were a part of the Shelbyville/Arion community. Besides, we need Buz in the group. Juan too if he keeps his Esqual.
Arion was extremely generous in hosting the first gathering, but by next year the group will be much larger. We will need to take some of the responsibility, and expense, off their shoulders.
We are geographically a pretty diverse group. Green Landings came down for this assemblage, and it would be nice to visit their location. Gregg and Crystal Hobbs in Arizona are worth a visit too. I had that privilege last month. We will probably divide up into regions eventually. Are there other dealer locations?
Anybody passing through Atlanta, please let me know.
That's my thoughts for now.

Thanks Earl for all you have done. I would vote for a fly-in at the Green Landings location next year and then perhaps move it around the country at each of the rep’s regions? Of course if we do that, we will lose the magic of visiting the “home base” at SYI!
Either way, I will be flying mine next year, so I’m sorry I missed it in 2007, but am looking forward to 2008.
