I'm trying to think about electrical system and avionics for my Lightning that I plan to order as soon as I can.

  

 I'm just getting started. What size is the alternator on the 3300? Do most folks use 12v or 24v systems? How much info comes from Arion? If there is a recommended wiring diagram in the build manual, can I get (order) a copy?

  

 Thanks in advance for any info y'all can supply. I've got to have something to work on while I save up.

Pat...

   

  The jabiru engine uses a 12V system...the alt is 20 amp continues and 30 amp peak. we do not have any type of wiring diagram because most panels are different.   The kit comes with a odessy 625 battery. The engine comes with a starter solenoid, regulator rectifier, and a wiring digarm to wire the systems correctly for engine operations. Some customers do choose to use a master relay, it is up to you as the builder to customize the electrical as you see fit.
