Hi Steve--
As I'm sure you know, there are several variants of the Yak-18. Which one are you referring to? Plain old -18, -18A, -18P, -18PM, -18T etc? The only one I know of that might be in production today is the -18T, possibly a turbine version, though I haven't read anything about them for quite a while. Other than the -18T there are very few of the other versions still left. Probably more of them in Europe than in the US. A good source of information is the Yak bulletin board called the "Yak-list" (yak-list(at)matronics.com (yak-list(at)matronics.com)). Lots of knowledgeable folks all around the world read it. You might drop a post and see what happens. In fact I'll cc this to the list.
