Barry pointed out that our Central RPA Fly-In date, currently scheduled for
May, conflicts with the Fly-In on the west coast.

I'm looking for suggestions... it will be near Dallas, so the temps will be
reasonable starting in March, but I'm not sure if people would rather see it
earlier in April or later in June, or if y'all think that because of the
distance it doesn't really conflict with the west coast event.

Jon,
Go to the ICAS website and look at the tentatively planned air show schedule
for next year. On any given weekend starting in Mar, you can count on there
being some air show you are going to conflict with. Your problem is going to
be getting Check pilots and flight leads for whatever weekend you chose if
there is a paying air show that weekend. Dallas is far enough away from Cal/
Oregon/ Illinois/ Fl /GA to not impact much that they are doing.
Pick a weekend that works for you and all your friends that are interested
in coming and go for it!
Good luck,
Doc

I doubt there will be many from the central and SC going to the West. The
big thing to think think about is the weather. Sun-Fun is in April. Early
to mid June would not be bad.

Sun-n-Fun is in April, you might not want to get too close to that one, or
you will lose most of the east coast
