Just an update. I have finished the inspection on the US and found several problems. Both lift struts are cracked, left wing drag brace tag cracked, tail wheel cracked. The engine rebuild was not necessary but I know it is good now. The drive belts have been replace and the prop balanced, installed an instrument pod and instruments cleaned and molly lubed all rod ends. As soon as I get my order from Aircraft spruce I will make the parts I need and rig all flight surfaces. My US should be ready to fly in a week or two.
