The plane was grounded by Canadian officials because the pilot was not allowed to fly his destination without an instrument rating.
The CH 701 sitted at St-Lazare airport for almost two years, where I believe it was sold.
If I recall, the flight was detailed on the Internet as Transiberia. To make a long strory short, this flight really sold me on the longevity of the Rotax 912.
