Gentlemen,
Here is my proposed mod.
Turn insert nut diameter 34mm and 19mm thick. Cut in half, 2 small blobs of
silastic to increase diameter to 35mm. This will hold insert in tube due to
compression of silicon. Tap bolt hole to suit eg. 1/4 af. Make sure a bolt
plain shank long enough so that no thread is in contact with tubes.
Saddle washers turned to o.d. of tubes. 16mm dia and 1/4 inch thick at
smallest radius.
Loctite or wire-lock bolts to suit.
