New to this web site and have a question.  Where do we get insurance for the lightning E-LSA A/C?  I am ready to move from my C-182 to a Lightning, but have not found insurance.  I have tried EAA and AOPA, with no luck.  Do you guys fly with out insurance?

I got  a quote from EAA, but note that the Lightning is not an E-LSA. Since Arion does  not offer a finished airplane as an SLSA, they cannot deliver an ELSA kit.  

  

 You  can build and register it as an Experimental that complies with LS limitations  and can be flown by a Light Sport pilot.

Wayne, I also use the Falcon Agent in Texas located  at the number listed by Bod, my agents name is Harvest Jones. Was very easy and  reasonable. I did not have to meet any flight time in Lightnings. First time I  used them.  Johnny
