I remember a while back someone was moving his XL fuse Interstate and ended up damaging the elevator and needed it replaced as it cut through the back spar.
I would like to read about it again, its on someones website but cannot remember who, you guys come across it?? he ended up putting a rubber elevator stopper on it .

If I were you I will inspect and dismount the hole tail in order to find cracks due to vibrations.
