Hello,

  

 Does someone know a  supplier of a headphone jack able to open  a circuit when the headset  plug is inserted ? It is to open the circuit of the  loudspeaker...

 Is the circuit to be opened electrically isolated from the headphone, or is the 'hot' source to the jack common to both the headphone and speaker.



 I can think of a number of manufacturers that make switching jacks;

 Switchcraft and Neutrix come first to mind as quality and non-Asian.

 In the States, Digi-key, Mouser, Newark, Allied all sell in small quantities.
