List,

Am getting close to riveting the front floor skin with all it's various stiffeners and attachments, so my question is: Do I turn the fuselage over to do the riveting or work on my back underneath the fuse?

What have others done? Seems to me that turning it over is the easy way.

Thanks,
Mike

I did mine as a section upside down then turned it over and joined it up to the gear channel once it was done and just did those last ones on my back

Hey, Mike! It's just like a big aluminum canoe at this point,
so turn it over! Get a little help so as not to bend anything. Makes
life soooo much easier.

You should have the whole mess up on some sort of supports (saw horses?) jigged and shimmed to the prescribed level or angles before you start pulling rivets. That way you don't incorporate any twist or improper relationships of parts. I found that working on a creepr on my back works well under the plane. They aren't terribly expensive and you will use it as long as you have a plane to work on.
