Tom Johnson is the owner of Airpower Insurance. He is a Yak owner and a very helpful guy. He writes a lot of the CJ's and would be a good contact. www.airpowerinsurance.com

I just switched to Air Power Insurance and am VERY happy. Better service from someone who understands these airplanes, and a lower price to boot! (Does this sound like a GEICO commercial?). I recommend Tom and his outfit most highly.

I agree about Air Power insurance. I switched my planes to them over a year ago. A Yak, Bonanza and a Skybolt.

Is this the part were , the voice tells your the disclaimer really really fast on the radio? Hehe
Short version, both companies do a fine job, I have used both. Pick the one that you feel best about.
They both support the RPA, and both look out for us all

David is right. I went with Tom because he is a friend of mine and is a friend to the entire community beyond just providing insurance.
I will soon call upon him to ferry my airplane to Arizona!!

Whomever you decide to insure with, make damn sure your insurance is not underwritten by A.I.G. Trust me on this. You will find out real fast what I am talking about if you ever need to file a claim with them.
