Hi Guy,
I was interested in wingstruts fairings to see where brake even is
when it come to low drag coefficient and increased area from the
slimmer but longer chords, and was I surprises of the result?
data come from DesignFOIL Pro. so the result is as good as the "wind
tunnel" in DesignFOIL.
I assume the strut is one inch in diameter and cruising at 90 MPH,
the resulting drag is in form of drag per length unit.
The NACA 670xx series is very good as wingstrut and wheel fairings
(xx is thickness in %)
Can you up load the excel file for kitfox list?
