Has anybody but me had trouble with the prepunched bottom wing skins along the main spar being too far forward. The holes in the skins were very close to the spar web when the skin was flush with the rear spar. ZAC says they have had no other complains on this except me??     [quote][b]

No mine fit great . You might check to be sure you have the proper distance  from the first rivet line as in the plans and also be sure your ribs are square  with the spar. It sounds like you have the skin too far inboard and because  they taper you are coming up long if that makes sense.

There's a simple solution. Compare the skins with the prints. If they match  within 2mm, your problem lies elsewhere.

I will not say that Zenith cannot make mistakes, but when I ran into issues where pre-punched holes did not line up, I eventually traced them back to errors on my part.

With some help from a "nice lister" we found the problem the top skin fit fine but after some help studying the plans we discovered ZAC drilled the rivet holes for the bottom skin along the main spar 40 mm from the last rib rivet hole instead of 35 mm  per the plans that puts the rivet holes all along the main spar right at the bend tangent of the spar angle which I cannot accept. I'll see what they will do and go from there.  David     [quote][b]
