Nick
I just wanted to let you know I don't think I'll be getting a trim kit for the Esqual. I'll save it for the new Lightning. I decided to try this, "photos", and believe it or not it works great. It took out about 75% of the tension from the bungee and trims at a slower rate. Took about 20 minutes to install and both elevators are working together. I still require slight nose down trim to keep the auto pilot from searching for altitude. Thanks again, Dave

Hello Dave
I just read your email about the trim tabs on your Esqual. I noticed you are going to build a Lightning. Are you going to sell your Esqual and if so, what will you ask?

Thanks

Dave,
That does look good. It's kind of funny. A similar fixed tab trim was used on the Jabiru kits which are also sold at SYI. It's amazing what such a small area added to the rear of the tail can do. Thanks for the pics. Brian W.
