Let me start by saying HI, and thanks to all of you for the help reading this sight has given me in the past, even without posting.  From operational questions to diagnosing a bad coil, this sight and its users are top notch.



Presently I am grounded due to a crack in the lower ruder hinge plate, the one with the bearing in it that is attached to the vertical stabilizer with 5 bolts or rivets.  I believe the crack developed due to damage during shipping of the aircraft, so I don’t think there is a systematic problem here.  I have called all the sources that I know and have not been able to find a replacement in the US.  If any body has one, or has any ideas where to get one please post.

If you have tried the usual US culprits, Carl, Jill, Culp, and Coy, then try Richard (at) http://www.wlacrussianeng.co.uk. If that does not work try Driagori at Aerostar or Vytus at Termikus.
