I got around to doing the survey from aviation survey.org today.-I filled out the same thing last year, also with some trepidation, remembering 

those costly flight time reports I sent back in the 70s that cost me some $$$$.

The infamous "air use tax"



This one has a disclaimer assuring no devious intent.



Anyway it prompted me to update my logs which hadn't been added up for two

years.  My average per annum once my 40 hours was flown off is about 25 hours.

-ok, I admit I am afflicted with ADD, can't do anything more than an hour in duration.

The only way I can stay focussed on mechanical work is with a constant and steady supply of

beer.   Guess what my career field was.... yep, mechanic
